Short Bio / Message from the Candidate:

Mike grew up an air force brat, both parents were veterans, and lived on or near numerous bases. He played Freshman basketball at Indiana University, then transferred to McKendree College, in Lebanon, IL where he played the remainder of his eligibility and earned his bachelor degree. He obtained his masters degree at Indiana State University. He raised two boys in Tell City, Mark and Matt Finley. He retired after 31 years of teaching and coaching, 2 years in O’Fallon, IL, 2 years in Cannelton and 27 years in Tell City. Mike and his wife, Kathy, own an antique and custom-framing shop at 739 Main St. Tell City, IN. Mike and Kathy are Perry County historians. He and Kathy have written several Perry County history books. Mike currently works full time at Dixons Auctions, Realty, LLC in Tell City, IN.
