Short Bio / Message from the Candidate:

My name is Jon Eads. I was elected Jay County Clerk in 2016 and took office in 2017. I am seeking the Republican Party's nomination in the May Primary to be on the General Ballot in November for Jay County Treasurer.
I am currently the Vice President of the Indiana State Clerk's Association and was the Treasurer in 2023.
I have also served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Northern District Clerk's Association in 2019 and was the Northern District President in 2020.
I have also served on the Jayland Rescue Missions Board and held the Treasurer position, served on the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) Board of Directors and held positions as District Vice President and President of the AIC Northeast District.
I received an Outstanding Manager of the year award when I was a unit Manager of the local McDonald's Restaurant. Then in the role as Area Supervisor I received an Outstanding Area Supervisor of the year award. Was responsible for overseeing the budgets, accountability of several million dollars in sales, 200+ employees, and the daily operations of several McDonald's Restaurants.
I am currently the CFO and head trustee of my local church that I attend (The Family Worship Center) in Portland, Indiana.
I feel that I am Qualified to be the next Jay County Treasurer based on my experience over the years. I Promise to learn the current procedures and deliver to the best of my abilities and ensure the success of the the Jay County Treasurers Office.
