Short Bio / Message from the Candidate:

My name is Brandon Deig, and I was born and raised in Posey County, IN. I am seeking re-election to the Posey County Council, At-Large. My wife, Amber, and I live on our family's Hoosier Homestead Farm in Marrs Township. I graduated from Evansville Mater Dei High School in 2006. After high school, I attended Ivy Tech Community College and studied Criminal Justice. In 2008, I graduated from the basic law enforcement academy in Plainfield, IN and became a Police Officer with the Indiana State Police, Capitol Police Section. In 2011, I graduated from the Indiana State Police, Trooper Academy in Plainfield, Indiana. As a road trooper, I primarily patrolled Posey County. I am now assigned as a Detective and investigate criminal cases across the Evansville District. I am the Posey County President. I am a member of multiple community clubs. My political views are middle of the road and common sense driven. I have gained knowledge and experience, in the last four years, representing Posey County citizens as a Councilman. I will always put the best interest of the Posey County citizens first. I have been part of providing Posey County employees with a historic pay raise. I am currently on the EMS Advisory Board and the EMA Advisory Board. I will continue to work with all other elected officials to do what is right for Posey County. I look forward to the opportunity to continue representing all of Posey County citizens as their County Councilman and move Posey County into a great, successful future!
