Short Bio / Message from the Candidate:
I, Connie Berger, am the current Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Tell City. I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve the citizens of Tell City for another 4 years. The Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for the municipality financial stability, management of city tax revenue, maintaining records, paying all city expenses and payroll for city employees. The position also requires being the secretary to the Common Council, Board of Public Works, and Water Board. The Clerk-Treasurer’s office is responsible for all the records for the Greenwood Cemetery.
I have attended Clerk-Treasurer Conferences and educational classes, either in person or virtually, to continue my education in city government.
I am a graduate of Perry Central High School and Owensboro Junior College of Business. I am a member of St. Marks Catholic Church, the local Kiwanis Organization, and a Citizens Police Academy Alumni.
