Short Bio / Message from the Candidate:

I'm Gale Garner and I am running for Tobin Township Trustee. I have held the office since March of 2019 at which time I was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the elected Trustee.

I graduated from Cannelton High School in 1968 and earned a B.S. Degree from Western Kentucky University in 1972 and a M.S. Degree in 1980.
I worked for the Perry Central Community School Corporation for over 30 years as a teacher, guidance counselor and Dean of Students retiring in 2005. I worked at the Cannelton Jr - Sr. High School for a few years after retirement from Perry Central Community School Corporation.

I am married to Shirley McCallister Hermann since 1996 and reside on our farm near Rome where we raise livestock, poultry and grandkids. We have 3 sons - Matthew Hermann, Greg Garner and Wes Garner.

I would appreciate your vote and the opportunity to continue my service as Tobin Township Trustee.
