Short Bio / Message from the Candidate:

Hello my name is Brian D Steen and I'm running for the office of Tell City Common Council District 2.
I am the son of the late Dale T. and Barbara Gratzer Steen. I am married to Barbara Parker Steen and together we have four children and six grandchildren.

I am a graduate of Tell City High School and Wabash Valley College.
Currently I am employed at Waupaca Foundry in my 27th year of service. In my 27 years at Waupaca Foundry, I have worked as the Ductile Iron Schedule, Customer Service Representative, and Plant Industrial Engineer. At Waupaca Foundry I also had the honor of being the Kaizen council person for Plant 5 Tell City. This council position involved working with other Waupaca Foundry plants to eliminate waste in the company. If elected to the Tell City Common Council I plan to use this knowledge to monitor the waste in our local government. I plan to work hard to make our city issues as transparent as I can. There are no quick fixes to everything but I plan to work outside the box to improve Tell City for our current citizens and our future citizens. I would appreciate your vote on November 7th, 2023.
