Andy T Beck

Republican

Running For: Putnam County Commissioner, District 1 - Republican

Short Bio / Message from the Candidate:

My name is Andy T. Beck and I am running for Putnam County Commissioner for District 1 on the Republican ballot in the May 7 primary election. I was born and raised in Putnam County and have lived here my entire life. I am a graduate of North Putnam High School. My wife, Betsy and I have been married for over 34 years and we live on a grain/livestock farm east of Bainbridge. We raise registered Hereford cattle along with my parents, Gene and Alice Beck.

I also work part-time for Keystone Cooperative (formerly Co-Alliance) in Bainbridge and my wife works for a public utility company. We are blessed to have one child, Cody who lives in Oklahoma with his wife, Taylor and their one-year-old daughter, Reagan. Cody and Taylor work in the cattle and banking industry in Oklahoma.

I served on the North Putnam school board in 2007-2010 where I was school board president in 2010. I also served on the Putnam County 4-H fair board, the board of the North Putnam Alumni Association, and North Putnam FFA committees. I am a member of various cattle associations and served in different capacities on those boards at the state and national level.

I am running for County Commissioner because I want to give back to the community by serving in a public role and help make decisions that will benefit the people of Putnam County. I will do my best to represent you in overseeing the budgetary and policy making functions of the county. I will make sure you are listened to and heard.

I would appreciate your vote for Andy T. Beck for Putnam County Commissioner on the Republican ballot in the May 7 primary. Thank you.
