Naomi Holloway-Harris

Republican

Running For: Troy Township Board Member, Perry County

Short Bio / Message from the Candidate:

As a candidate running for member of the board of trustee ( Troy Township) let me introduce myself to those of you who do not know me. My name is Naomi Holloway. I have been in Perry County since 2002. I raised 3 sons here and have 4 grandchildren almost 5.
I worked at Everybody's for a few years when I moved here and then opened my own Pilates studio for several years. I now own a small painting business called She Paints.

I was raised in Key West/Port Charlotte Florida. My parents are Susan Steelman and Lee Holloway.

I believe in justice and equality for everyone, no matter social or economic standing. I am running for this spot in hopes that I can be a voice for those people that want to see Perry County grow for all of its citizens, including the less fortunate. We need programs that can teach our youth the tools to break the poverty cycle and to become self sustainable. I want to help end the need for assistance as a way of life and I believe we can do that if someone like myself and Suzette Sabelhaus have the platform to be heard.

The office of trustee should be more than just deciding who to help out of a crisis and where the money goes. It should be a place where you can access information that will help you long term.

I want to see the next generation of Perry County using its resources to help other communities lift themselves out of the idea that if you are born poor and on welfare then that's where you will stay. It's just not true.

Vote for our future. Vote for Naomi Holloway
